These terms and conditions are only applicable to the www.protectitsocks.co.uk website, operated by Reed Medical Limited.

In placing an order the customer is agreeing to the terms set out below.

Ordering products

In order to be able to buy products from the www.protectitsocks.co.uk website the customer must satisfy all the following criteria:

  • Be over 18

  • Register with a real name, address, email address and phone number

  • Provide a delivery address within mainland UK (PO Box numbers, hotels & hostels are not acceptable)

  • Use a valid credit or debit card to purchase products

When an order has been placed the customer will receive an automated acknowledgement email with an order number and details of the order placed. Once this order has been placed Reed Medical Limited will process the order.


The product price includes VAT but does not include postage and packing charges. Free delivery applies on all orders for two pairs of socks or more.

Reed Medical Limited will try to ensure that prices on the website are correct. However, in the event of there being an error the customer will be notified of this change and if the customer no longer wishes to order the product at the revised price then they may cancel their order.

The prices displayed on the website are exclusively for purchases made via the website.

Prices are subject to change and Reed Medical Limited reserves the right to change prices without notice prior to a customer placing an order.


Reed Medical Limited cannot guarantee the availability of products advertised on their website. Although we will monitor the website closely, there may be occasions when stock availability information on the website is incorrect. In this instance the customer will be contacted by a member of the Reed Medical Limited customer service team and advised of the problem. The customer may cancel their order should such a problem arise.

Reed Medical Limited aims to deliver products on time (within 10 working days); however, there may be occasions when delivery dates cannot be met. Therefore, delivery times are non-binding and we cannot ensure that a certain time or date will be met.

The customer must examine the products upon delivery, checking the condition and that the delivery is complete. It is the customers’ responsibility to inform Reed Medical Limited of any damages or incomplete deliveries at the time of delivery.


Payment can be made by Credit or Debit card. The customers’ payment card will be charged when Reed Medical Limited has accepted the order. We cannot supply products to a customer until the card issuer has authorised the use of the card for that payment. Card payment can be made online or over the telephone. Alternatively, payment can be made by postal order or by sending a cheque, made payable, to Reed Medical Limited. If a customer does not wish to make a payment online they should contact us by email or telephone and a member of our sales team will be happy to help.


Manufacturers warranty covers all products. Any faulty items should be reported by email or by telephone to the Reed Medical Limited customer services as soon as the fault occurs. The customer will be advised of the procedure for returning faulty items and a replacement, where applicable, will be delivered.
