What Shipping Methods Are Available?
Reed Medical Limited delivers to UK postal addresses only, including Isle of Man, Channel Islands etc. The order will be delivered to the billing address unless otherwise requested.
Deliveries will be made by Reed Medical Limited using our chosen courier service. If nobody is available to receive the product, the courier will post a note through the door and take the delivery to your nearest depot.
We do not deliver to PO Box numbers, hotels or hostels.
Our standard UK postage and packing price is £2.00, inclusive of VAT, per order, for any number of items bought. Any references to free delivery refer to mainland UK only and this only applies on orders of two or more pairs of socks.
How Long Will It Take To Get My Package?
Reed Medical Limited aims to deliver products within 7 working days; however, there may be occasions when delivery dates cannot be met. Therefore, delivery times are non-binding and we cannot ensure that a certain time or date will be met.
Reed Medical Limited cannot guarantee the availability of products advertised on their website. Although we will monitor the website closely, there may be occasions when stock availability information on the website is incorrect. In this instance, the customer will be contacted by a member of the Reed Medical Limited customer service team and advised of the problem. If for any other reason there is a delay with your item being despatched, we will also advise accordingly. The customer may cancel their order should such a problem arise.
The customer must examine the products upon delivery, checking the condition and that the delivery is complete. It is the customers’ responsibility to inform Reed Medical Limited of any damages or incomplete deliveries at the time of delivery.

How Can I Return a Product?
Customers may return items to Reed Medical Limited.
We ask that you pay the postage to return goods to us but if you ask for an exchange we will pay to post any items we send back out to you. If we were to offer a free returns service we would have to recover this cost, either by increasing the price of our products or by increasing our postage and packing cost on outgoing orders. We would prefer not to do this as only a very small number of customers have to return items to us.

To be accepted for return the item(s) must be returned in the original packaging, sealed and suitable for resale.
Please specify why the items has been returned:
- Faulty – indicating the nature of the fault
- Wrong fit
- Wrong item supplied
- Goods damaged or gone missing in transit
- Incomplete order
Please enclose the dispatch note or invoice accompanying the delivery so that we can trace the original order and refund or re-deliver as applicable.
We recommend that you request a ‘proof of posting’ receipt from the Post Office for any items you return.
If the returns are not in their original condition and packaging or has parts missing, Reed Medical Limited reserves the right to reject the returned item(s) and decline a replacement or refund for the product.
If the return is accepted, Reed Medical Limited will refund the price that has been paid for the items by crediting the payment card. Any postage and packing costs will not be refunded.
We will only accept returns for items bought on this website. We cannot accept any items purchased through other distribution channels. Proof of purchase is required in the form of an original invoice.
Do I need an account to place an order?
You do not have to open an account with us to place an order – you may check out as a guest.
How do I place an Order?
In order to be able to buy products from the www.protectitsocks.co.uk website, the customer must satisfy all the following criteria:
- Be over 18
- Register with a real name, address, email address and phone number
- Provide a delivery address within mainland UK (PO Box numbers, hotels & hostels are not acceptable)
- Use a valid credit or debit card to purchase products
When an order has been placed, the customer will receive an automated acknowledgement email with an order number and details of the order. Once this order has been placed, Reed Medical Limited will process it.
What’s The Coupon Codes Policy?
We may occasionally offer promotional codes, the validity / expiry date of which will be advised when the coupon code is promoted.
How Can I Cancel Or Change My Order
If you wish to cancel or change your order after you have placed it, please email or telephone us as soon as possible as we aim to despatch as many orders as possible on the day they are placed. If it is not possible to cancel or change your order then you will have to follow our policy for returns.
Is Buying On-Line Safe?
Reed Medical Limited understands that privacy is important to our customers. We are committed to protecting the personal information of our users, whilst providing the best possible service to them.
Under the terms of the Data Protection Legislation, we are required to provide our customers with information about how we will handle any personal and/or private data that has been collected.
In order to deliver any products to a customer, Reed Medical Limited requires the customer’s name and address. This information is passed on to the chosen courier service that carries out our deliveries. We also require a contact telephone number and email address in the event that the address needs to be clarified with the customer. Telephone numbers will only be passed on to the courier if they have problems contacting the customer.
Invoices, with details of the customers’ name and address, are sent out with the delivered products. Copies of these are sent to a third party accountant and may be viewed by auditors in some circumstances.

Information provided to us remains with Reed Medical Limited, apart from where stated above. Reed Medical Limited does not share customers’ information with anyone else for marketing purposes:

- The opt-in box selected will apply to the email address given at time of order. This will enable us to provide you with information about special promotions and offers.
